S&M = SEX + MURDER. Sadistic is a pulse-pounding thrill ride into southern psycho-horror unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before. Log line: When an evil sexually sadistic serial killer starts terrorizing a small Arkansas town, a brilliant FBI profiler thinks he knows who the killer is … but does he? During the course of the investigation, he unwittingly becomes entangled with a seductive, dangerous stranger. Their dark relationship brings out the agent’s repressed desires, with tragic and shocking results To be shot in the gritty, no holds barred manner of 70’s style horror films, SADISTIC explores the underground universe of a ruthless sexually sadistic serial killer and the federal agent forced to enter the murderer’s terrifying domain. A brilliant FBI forensics psychologist and best selling crime author, Dr. Mack Taylor, thrives in a world where nothing is as it seems and there are no set rules, at least not for the evil killers he is trying to catch ... and ultimately not for himself. When the story opens, a pretty young couple is found ritualistically murdered in an abandoned house in the small town of Redemption, Arkansas. When the bodies are found mutilated and strung up in a manner similar to crime scene photos of famous serial killer Ed Gein’s murders, the local homicide cops realize this is the work of a vicious serial killer. The FBI sends Dr. Mack Taylor of Texas, an expert in profiling sexually sadistic serial killers, to Arkansas for the investigation. Mack is sure that he recognizes this killer –- a vicious neo-Nazi named Clyde Davis that he arrested over ten years ago when he was a local homicide cop. At his trial, Clyde was acquitted on the insanity plea and the court committed him to a psychiatric hospital for the criminally insane -- where he recently escaped. Along with Bo Tucker, a local homicide detective, Mack tracks down Clyde and arrests him on unrelated charges in order to detain him for questioning about the case. During the interviews, Clyde proceeds to lead the two lawmen down a Byzantine path, while continually denying any involvement in the ongoing carnage. When following up Clyde’s lead about a suspect in an underground S&M club one night, Mack meets a sexy blonde named Serena Hart who promptly seduces him into an intense affair. Somehow, this alluring woman intuitively knows how to manipulate Mack’s hidden weakness -– the secret desires that cost him his marriage and custody of his son. While Clyde is incarcerated, the murders continue. Mack confronts Clyde about the murders, thinking that he must have an accomplice. After signing a deal dropping all charges and granting immunity, Clyde states that his accomplice is his ex- lover Anna Lee Johnson, and that he was her accomplice in all the brutal murders that she masterminded. Is Clyde telling the truth? Or is Clyde lying again just to save his own skin? When Mack confronts his lover Serena about her true identity as Anna Lee, he finds out the shocking truth. Meanwhile, Bo becomes suspicious of Mack when he says that he is going to arrest Anna Lee and he comes back empty-handed. However, Bo is unable to convince the police chief that there is more going on with Mack than what it seems. Also, during Mack’s sessions with female psychiatrist Dr. Steel, we learn the hard truth about his troubled life, and how his abusive past may be affecting his present circumstances. During a television interview, Mack attributes the murders of hundreds of women on the Mexican border over the past ten years to the Vampire Killer, a cannibalistic psycho that he was forced to kill in self-defense while investigating one of his crime scenes. But does Mack know more details about those murders than he is actually revealing? As Mack becomes more deeply entwined with the schemes of the killer that he’s investigating, he increasingly finds himself crossing over on the wrong side of the law that he has sworn to uphold. He gets a strong taste of the killer’s dark reality, a life from which he finds it increasingly difficult to retreat. Eventually, we begin to realize that Mack is far more troubled than what he initially appears to be on the surface. As the slaughters continue to escalate, Mack takes one last chance to stop the killer and at the same time stop the demons raging within him. Will Mack turn the tables on this killer and bring about justice? Will he drown in his own purgatory or find his own salvation? Is Mack even REALLY who we think he is? Can it be that Mack and Clyde are actually involved in an evil conspiracy that set the current events into motion? In the shocking ending to SADISTIC, we find out the real answers –- and they are far stranger and more horrifying than anyone could have ever imagined. -END |
